LONDON (Alliance News) - Mariana Resources Ltd Friday said it has started additional drilling at its Condo de Oro copper-gold molybdenum project, located along the Cordrillera del Condor gold-copper belt in Northern Peru.
Last year the company received positive results from a drill programme which identified strong porphyry-style copper-molybdenum mineralisation. On the back of this Mariana decided to extend the drill programme into 2014.
The company has also performed further geochemcial sampling over key areas on the Pucaycu target at Condor de Oro to assist in position these key holes whilst vectoring to the core zone of mineralisation.
Marian Resources shares were quoted down 5.8% at 3.65 pence Friday morning.
