LONDON (Alliance News) - Mariana Resources Ltd on Monday said it has received further high-grade intercepts from the Hot Maden gold-copper project in Turkey.
Mariana said the drilling programme on the project showed intersections of up to 7.1% zinc, 1.8 grams per tonne of gold and 0.51% copper.
Exploration activities on the project will continue to focus on generating new high-grade gold-copper targets for testing, Mariana said, with a new geophysical programme expected to be undertaken in the second half.
"An updated mineral resource estimate for the Hot Maden Project is expected to be completed next month, and I look forward to updating the market of our progress in due course," said Chief Executive Glen Parsons.
Mariana shares were up 2.6% to 3.20 pence on Monday.
