Marechale Says Northfield's Stanfield Planning Permission Refused

6th Nov 2015 13:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - Marechale Capital PLC on Friday said the planning application made by Northfield UK Solar Ltd for its solar scheme in Stanfield in Norfolk has not been successful.

Marechale owns a 26% stake in Northfield.

Northfield is currently awaiting the Change Contract for Difference auction by the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change in relation to its scheme in Desborough, Northamptonshire. It secured planning permission for that project in August.

The auction had been due to take place in October but has been delayed until further notice, Marechale said.

Shares in Marechale were down 30% to 1.4 pence on the news, the worst performer in the AIM All-Share.
