LONDON (Alliance News) - Manx Telecom PLC on Friday said its trading remains in line with expectations, as its domestic business performed well during 2015 and it continued to invest in its infrastructure.
The Isle of Man telecommunications provider said its mobile business had performed "particularly well" during the year following its investment in a 4G network in 2014.
High-speed broadband is now available to 91% of homes on the Isle of Man, Manx said, and 30% of customers use the service, with take up rates continuing to increase. In the last quarter of 2015 the company completed the second phase of its new data centre facility, Greenhill Data Centre, and occupancy levels at the centre are over 50%.
Manx Telecom's Global Solutions segment performed in line with its expectations, seeing revenue trends improve in its second half, and the company said this momentum has continued into 2016.
Shares in Manx Telecom were untraded Friday morning. They last closed at 203.50 pence Friday morning.
