Man Group Non-Executive Director Lester To Step Down After Nine Years

(Alliance News) - Man Group PLC said Friday that Independent Non-Executive Director Matthew Lester will step down from his role with effect on Wednesday next week.

Lester has been part of the London-based asset manager for nine years since 2011.

He is also chair at construction firm Kier Group PLC since December, and his most recent executive role was as chief financial officer of Royal Mail PLC for seven years from 2010 to 2017.

"I would like to thank Matthew for his excellent contribution to the firm over the past nine years. We have benefitted tremendously from Matthew's deep financial, risk management and regulatory expertise and his guidance on the firm's governance framework as member of the Audit and Risk Committee," said Chair John Cryan.

Shares in Man Group were down 0.7% at 158.25 pence on Friday in London.
