LONDON (Alliance News) - Educational services company Malvern International PLC said Wednesday it has entered an agreement to work as sales partner with Singapore-based Playware Studios Pvt Ltd.
Malvern said it will be the exclusive sales and marketing partner and distributor for some of Playware's education-related IT and technology products. In addition, Malvern will receive advice to fast-track its own IT projects. Malvern said royalties will be payable to Playware on sales receipts achieved on Playware-relate products.
"Access to the various Playware offerings will significantly expand the scope of our offering as an international education company and will help propel Malvern into the digital age. Malvern's offering will now include cutting-edge technology (gaming, virtual reality, mobile applications) in addition to existing teaching and courses," said Sam Malafeh, deputy chief executive officer of Malvern.
Shares in Malvern International were up 4.4% at 3.00 pence Wednesday morning.
