LONDON (Alliance News) - Majestic Wine PLC Thursday said it has appointed former Direct Wines Chief Executive Greg Hodder as a non-executive director.
Hodder is currently CEO of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts Ltd, in the position since 2008. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Direct Wines for 14 years. He also held senior positions at kitchen and home designer Smallbone USA and publishing business Folio Society.
"We are delighted to have secured such an experienced and highly-recommended appointment to the board. Greg's past experience will provide us with additional high-level strategic and operational support as we grow the business," Chief Executive Rowan Gormley said in a statement.
Shares in Majestic were trading up 0.5% at 379.28 pence Thursday morning.
