LONDON (Alliance News) - Majedie Investments PLC on Monday reported a 12.9% net asset value total return, with debt at par value and including dividends, in the first full financial year in which its assets were managed by Majedie Asset Management.
"In general stock markets were weak in the second half of the year having risen in the first half of the year," Chairman Andrew Adcock said in a statement.
The FTSE All Share Index and the MSCI World Index fell by 2.3% and 0.1% respectively on a total return basis in the company's financial year ended September 30.
Shares in Majedie Investments were up 2.7% at 262.93 pence on Monday morning.
