(Alliance News) - Cloud and managed service providers Maintel Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Ioan MacRae as it chief executive, effective October 14.
MacRae was formerly the managing director of the UK & Ireland arm of American communications firm Avaya Holdings Corp.
He replaces 10-year veteran Eddie Buxton who announced his intention to step down earlier in September.
Maintel Chair John Booth said: "MacRae is the perfect candidate to lead the next phase of Maintel's development. He has significant experience in our sector and a track record of leading successful businesses through times of transition and high growth."
Shares in Maintel closed 3.2% lower at 418.00 pence each in London on Tuesday.
