LONDON (Alliance News) - M&C Saatchi PLC said Friday that Lloyd Dorfman, a senior non-executive director, intends to retire form the board at the end of the year, and it will appoint Michael Dobbs, as a non-executive from the start of 2016.
Dobbs, a former advisor to Margaret Thatcher and Conservative Party chief of staff, as well as deputy chairman under John Major, is a political novelist and currently is a current affairs presenter for the BBC and columnist for the Mail on Sunday and Daily Express.
Adrian Martin, non-executive director, also plans to not stand for re-election at the company's next annual general meeting next June.
Shares in M&C Saatchi were down 2.8% at 329.00 pence Friday morning.
