(Alliance News) - Phoenix Group Holdings PLC on Wednesday announced that former chair Nicholas Lyons will return to the role on December 1 after serving his current one-year term as Lord Mayor of the City of London, which started in November last year.
Current Chair Alastair Barbour will step down as chair on November 30 and leave the board of the life insurance provider on December 31.
Outgoing Chair Barbour said: "I am delighted that Nick is returning to the board of Phoenix Group following his very successful tenure as Lord Mayor, where alongside other worthy achievements, he was instrumental in the successful launch of the 'Mansion House Compact'".
Phoenix shares were 0.3% lower at 461.17 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
