(Alliance News) - Low & Bonar PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Giulia Nobili as a non-executive director at the request of its largest investor.
Shares in Low & Bonar were down 9.6% at 10.80 pence on Wednesday at mid day.
Sterling Strategic Value Fund SA SICAV-RAIF is Low & Bonar's largest shareholder. Following the company's most recent placing, Sterling held a 25% Low & Bonar stake.
Nobili is a member of Sterling's investment committee and manages both existing portfolio assets and new investments. Prior to joining Sterling, she was Diageo PLC's group director for business development and integration management.
Most recently, Nobili was a partner as healthcare sector investor Ares Life Sciences. She will not be considered an independent non-executive at Low & Bonar.
