LONDON (Alliance News) - Lookers PLC on Thursday said it sold two Toyota businesses and one Lexus business to Meridian Motor Group Ltd on Wednesday for GBP12.7 million.
The car dealership chain said it sold a Toyota business in Leeds, a Toyota business in Wakefield and a Lexus business in Leeds to Meridian.
Lookers Chairman Phil White is a 30% shareholder in Meridian and so the disposal is regarded as a smaller related party transaction.
Shares in Lookers closed flat at 185.00 pence on Thursday afternoon.
