LONDON (Alliance News) - Lookers PLC Thursday said Andy Bruce has taken over as the company's chief executive following Peter Jones' planned retirement from the position.
The change, which was first announced to the market in mid-August, sees Bruce take over after a period of record profitability and strong increases in market capitalisation.
At the end of October, the UK-based car retail and servicing company said it was confident that its trading performance for the full-year will be significantly ahead of market expectations at that point.
Lookers shares were Thursday quoted at 120.88 pence, down 0.12 pence, or 0.1%.
