LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed miner Lonmin PLC on Thursday said its chief operating officer has been made executive director of the company.
Ben Moolman will take on the executive director role with immediate effect, the company said.
"I am very pleased with Ben Moolman's appointment to the board. It emphasises the importance the board places on operational performance and safety, particularly as we face significant challenges in these areas as highlighted in our second quarter production report," said Lonmin Chief Executive Ben Magara.
Shares in Lonmin were down 0.1% to 125.74 pence on Thursday.
