LONDON (Alliance News) - Consumer goods maker Swallofield PLC said Monday Non-Executive Director Franklin Berrebi will retire from the firm at the end of June.
Following the resignation of Berrebi - a non-executive director since 2010 - the firm will have three executive and three non-executive directors on the board. Consequently, Swallowfield will "not be seeking a replacement in the immediate future."
"Franklin will have served on the Swallowfield board for nine years and has provided continuity during a time of considerable change in the business," Swallowfield Chair Brendan Hayes said.
"His global L'Oreal business background has proved invaluable in the ongoing transformation of the group to a more brand focussed business and he heads into retirement with the gratitude and the very best wishes from all of us at Swallowfield", Hayes added.
Shares in Swallowfield were 1.6% lower at 187.00 pence on Monday.
