LONDON (Alliance News) - London Stock Exchange Group PLC on Friday said it has made two new appointments to its board, including the former chief executive of Standard Life PLC.
David Nish was the chief executive of Standard Life, the blue-chip life insurance and investment management group, until September. He will become an independent non-executive director of LSE Group.
Nish also sits on the board of the Green Investment Bank PLC and will join the board of telecommunications giant Vodafone Group PLC in January.
Also appointed to the LSE's board is Les Hoogduin, currently the chairman of LCH.Clearnet Group Ltd, in which LSE bought a controlling interest back in 2012.
LSE shares were down 0.7% to 2,587.00 pence on Friday.
