LONDON (Alliance News) - London Capital Group Holdings PLC said Wednesday that it has appointed Charles-Henri Sabet as executive chairman with immediate effect, following recent relevant regulatory approvals.
Current Chairman Giles Vardey will step down, although he will stay on the board as non-executive senior independent director.
Sabet is currently a director of GIO Global Investments Opportunities Management Ltd. He founded and chaired Synthesis Bank Geneva, which was sold to Saxo Bank (Switzerland) SA in 2007, and was also appointed chairman and head of global trading at Saxo Group.
Shares in London Capital were trading up 3.1% at 25.00 pence Wednesday afternoon.
