LONDON (Alliance News) - London & St Lawrence Investment Company PLC on Wednesday said it fared better than its benchmark index in a volatile first half to its financial year.
The London-listed closed-end investment trust, which invests in investment trusts and unit trusts, fixed interest securities and bonds, said its net asset value - the difference between assets and liabilities - fell by 8.4% to 346.51 pence in the six months ended February 29.
The FTSE All Share Index fell by 10.6%.
Shares in London & St Lawrence Investment Co were down 0.3% at 333.60p on Wednesday morning.
