LONDON (Alliance News) - Lloyds Banking Group PLC Thursday said retail and commercial banker Alan Dickinson is set to join the group as an independent Non-Executive Director, with the intention that he will take over as Chairman of its risk committee later this year.
Dickinson, the former chief executive of The Royal Bank of Scotland UK, and more recently a non-executive director of Nationwide Building Society and chairman of its Risk Committee, will join on September 8 and serve as a member of its audit and risk committees before becoming chairman of the latter.
"Alan's strategic focus and core banking experience complements the balance of skills on our board," Lloyds Chairman Lord Blackwell said in a statement.
Lloyds shares were Thursday quoted down 0.07% at 75.01 pence.
