(Alliance News) - Lego events firm Live Company Group PLC on Wednesday said it has 65 Bricklive shows planned for the rest of 2019 after securing further agreements in France, Thailand and the UK.
The company will host Lego brick-based events in France later in October after its subsidiary Brick Live International Ltd secured an agreement with Toulouse Evenements SA, an events company with venues in the south of France. Toulouse Evenements is a subsidiary of major events firm GL Events SA.
In the UK, Live Company will host Bricklive shows in Luton, between October 19 and October 28, and in Banham Zoo, Norfolk, between November 29 and January 5.
In Bangkok, Thailand, subsidiary Brick Live Hong Kong Ltd and partner BEC-Tero Entertainment Public Co Ltd, will host shows in November at the 3,000 capacity True Icon Hall venue.
Marketed at children, the Bricklive tours often incorporate characters from popular animations such as Paw Patrol, which is broadcast on Viacom Inc-owned television channel Nickelodeon.
The company also hosts themed shows based on festive film The Snowman and The Snowdog, which was broadcast by UK television station Channel 4 in 2012.
Chair Daid Ciclitira said: "We are delighted to be launching our first Bricklive Show in Toulouse, France with GL Events, one of the largest exhibitors and venue operators in France and launching our second Bricklive Show in Bangkok, Thailand, in November. We continue to see strong demand for our tours, with the total number of Bricklive events and shows planned in 2019 now being 65, with more expected."
Shares in the company were up 1.3% at 39.00 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
