LONDON (Alliance News) - Events and education firm Live Company Group PLC said Friday it has signed a multi-year deal with a Switzerland convention centre to bring its Lego-based BrickLive event to the country.
Live Company secured the three-year deal with Palexpo SA, a convention centre in Geneva which also hosts the Geneva Motor Show.
The agreement will see Live Company bring its BrickLive show to Palexpo every year up to the end of 2021. The first BrickLive event at the venue will take place at the end of October.
In return, Live Company will receive an annual licence fee. No further financial details were disclosed.
"We are delighted to be working with our newest partner, Palexpo, to deliver our first BrickLive Show in Geneva at the famous Palexpo venue," Live Company Executive Chair David Ciclitira said. "Palexpo is home to the Geneva Motor Show, one of the world's most prestigious motor show events and we are delighted that with Palexpo, the BrickLive Show will be hosted in this world renowned venue over the next three years."
Palexpo Chief Executive Officer Calude Membrez added: "This is a great opportunity for Palexpo to welcome such a fantastic event and great news for French speaking Swiss residents and around to discover BrickLive for the very first time."
Shares in Live Company were 0.9% lower at 58.00 pence on Friday.
