(Alliance News) - Events firm Live Company Group PLC on Friday said it is still in talks with the former owners of Bright Bricks Holdings, a unit it acquired in October 2018, to settle a deferred payment of GBP833,000.
Live Company, which bought the brick statue firm for a fee totalling GBP8.5 million, is in discussions to settle the remaining purchase price, which was due on Friday, through the issue of new shares.
The Surrey-based firm said: "The company continues to be in advanced discussions with the vendors of Bright Bricks Holdings Limited regarding the settlement of the deferred consideration. Further announcements will be made as appropriate."
Live Company hosts Lego brick-based shows featuring characters from well-known children's television shows such as Nickelodeon's Paw Patrol series.
In October, the firm said it had 65 of its flagship Bricklive shows planned for the remainder of 2019. In August, it met its annual target of having 60 contracted Bricklive shows, four months before the year end.
Live Company shares were trading 4.8% lower at 43.30 pence each in London on Friday morning.
