LONDON (Alliance News) - Live Company Group PLC on Friday announced the GBP8.5 million acquisition of brick statue company Bright Bricks Holdings Ltd.
To partly pay for this, Live Company also said it has raised GBP3.0 million before expenses, placing 4.6 million new shares at a price of 65 pence apiece.
The entertainment events firm's shares were at 69.95p on Friday afternoon, up 0.7%.
Live Company said the deal would allow it to "fast-track" its plans to expand in both the US and Europe.
Further, Live Company has appointed Bright Bricks' Simon Horgan as an executive director from the start of November.
Trudy Norris-Grey will join as a non-executive director, and Bryan Lawrie has also had his position as interim chief financial officer made permanent.
