LONDON (Alliance News) - Live Co Group PLC on Friday said it will be working together with the Prince Albert II of Monaco foundation and its Chinese joint venture partner BrickLive Centre Education Technology Beijing Co Ltd to educate children in China about the need to protect and preserve the environment.
Back in July, the media company created Bricklive Animal Paradise exhibition, which is expected to visit 20 cities around China over the next three years.
On Friday, Live Co said Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the opening of Bricklive Animal Paradise at the Beijing National Stadium. The exhibition visitors will experience life-sized statues depicting the world's most endangered animals, all located in their natural habitats, across four distinct zones.
The company said a 100 page book will be available to support the exhibition and to educate visitors on each endangered animal, explaining their habitat and what can be done to aid their survival.
Also translated into Mandarin, the book will be the centre piece of an educational programme and will be the next level in interactive brick-filled fun.
"We hope to reach over a million visitors in China whom I am sure will be gaining their first understanding of the real danger these animals are in and the many ways in which we can make a difference through their lifetimes," said Live Co Chairman David Ciclitira.
Shares in Live Co were trading 6.3% higher on Friday at 89.80 pence each.
