LiteBulb Wins Contracts With Tesco, HMV For 'Frozen' Product Displays

14th Oct 2014 07:55

LONDON (Alliance News) - LiteBulb Group Ltd said Tuesday that it has won two contracts worth GBP690,000 with Tesco PLC and HMV Retail Ltd to supply stores with merchandise for the Walt Disney Co's animated blockbuster 'Frozen'.

Working with Imagine8, Litebulb will deliver pre-filled free-standing display units to over 700 Tesco stores and 120 HMV stores in the UK containing a range of 'Frozen' branded products, including winter clothes sets, sticker sets, key rings and other items.

The displays will be available in Tesco from the beginning of November, and with HMV, the company will supply further stock to its existing display units.

Imagine8 has a licence agreement with Disney to produce Disney products on these display units across Europe. LiteBulb is Imagine8's key distribution partner in the UK.

"Anyone with young kids will be able to tell you how popular the film Frozen is, and we're delighted to be selling a set of products for this brand," said Chief Executive Simon McGivern in a statement. "It is a huge endorsement to our innovative approach to developing branded products that Imagine8, who hold the licence for Disney products sold on these stands, turned to us to come up with a range of gifts that would appeal to UK consumers."

Shares in Litebulb are trading up 4.8% at 0.880 pence Tuesday morning.
