LiteBulb Group Acquires Rights To Sell Peppa Pig Wooden Toys

2nd Nov 2015 08:07

LONDON (Alliance News) - Branded product developer LiteBulb Group Ltd on Monday said it has acquired the rights to sell a range of Peppa Pig-branded wooden toys.

The new range, which will include items such as puzzles, skittles, push-along and pull-along toys, will be created through LiteBulb's pre-school division Milly & Flynn, and will complement the division's existing branded wooden toy range which includes Disney's Winnie the Pooh and Dear Zoo, which is based on the popular children's books by Rod Campbell.

The Peppa Pig wooden toy range is expected to be available in shops from September 2016. LiteBulb already has arrangements in place to sell its existing wooden toy ranges in retailers Boots UK Ltd, Debenhams PLC, Waterstones and French-influenced mother and baby retail chain Jojo Maman Bébé.

"The Peppa Pig franchise has been hugely successful over the years and is enormously popular with pre-school children. We already have a well-established reputation with some of the UK's major retailers for supplying high-quality wooden toys associated with well-loved brands and this latest deal will allow us to extend our portfolio of products further," Interim Chief Executive Howard Partington said.
