Lighthouse Group May Close Exeter Office After Review

5th Sep 2013 16:25

LONDON (Alliance News) - Lighthouse Group PLC Thursday said it may close its Exeter office and change some of the ways it serves its customers, after it completed a strategic review.

The financial advisory company said the review considered many factors in assessing its future, including the optimum locations for its operations and the availability of appropriately skilled labour markets near its offices.

It said it is therefore proposing to move operations carried out in Exeter to the company's Stockport and Woodingdean offices before the end of March 2014.

"With five locations nationwide, which have evolved as a result of the group's historic M&A activity, it is important for the board to assess the efficacy of its structure and, where appropriate, rationalise its operations."Chief Executive Malcolm Streatfield said in a statement.

Lighthouse shares were trading at 3.77 pence Thursday afternoon, down 0.36 pence, or 8.6%.
