(Alliance News) - LifeSafe Holdings PLC announced on Tuesday the launch of its new StaySafe All-in-1 fire extinguisher, designed to tackle 10 types of fire and featuring eco-friendly fluid.
LifeSafe is a fire technology business manufacturing fire extinguishing fluids and other fire safety products, headquartered in Essex, UK.
The StaySafe All-in-1 replaces the company's current best-selling product, the StaySafe 5-in-1 fire extinguisher, launched in Spring 2022.
The StaySafe All-in-1 can be used to extinguish 10 fires with one bottle. These include fires started with lithium-ion batteries, bioethanol, diesel, biodiesel and motor oil.
The StaySafe All-in-1 contains a non-toxic, non-hazardous and eco-friendly extinguishing fluid solution. This is a variant of FER1000, an eco-friendly fluid patented by LifeSafe.
Dominic Berger, LifeSafe's executive chair, said that the launch "once again highlights the innovative and dynamic nature of the group and marks a major step forward in fire safety." He added that "this product can provide people 'peace of mind' that what matters most to them will be protected".
Berger also commented: "Alongside our strong FY22 results figures announced today, this launch shows that the business continues to go from strength to strength and I am very excited by what lies ahead for LifeSafe."
LifeSafe on Tuesday reported revenue of GBP4.0 million for 2022, up from GBP670,000 in 2021, exceeding previous market expectations.
Its pretax loss widened to GBP3.0 million from GBP1.5 million, as administrative expenses increased to GBP5.1 million from GBP1.9 million in 2021.
Shares in LifeSafe were down 4.0% at 31.20 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.
