LONDON (Alliance News) - Transplantation technology company Lifeline Scientific PLC on Tuesday said it has won new contracts in North America and Brazil worth over USD1.5 million a year to the company.
Lifeline said it has won new orders in several US regions for its LifePort Kidney Transporters, with total revenue from the new business won to total around USD800,000 over the next 12 months. The new accounts include wins in southern California, Kentucky, Nebraska and northern Florida.
In addition, the group has won orders worth around USD780,000 for its LifePort transporters from the state of Rio de Janeiro and a new LifePort site in the state of Goias in central Brazil.
"We are grateful to see continued further adoption and use of LifePort within our core North American market," said David Kravitz, Lifeline's chief executive.
"These orders, coming on the back of significant new clinical evidence from Brazil, are an important milestone for potential wider LifePort adoption as the standard of care for machine preservation of donor kidneys across the country," Kravitz added.
Shares in Lifeline were up 2.7% to 189.00 pence.
