Life Science Developments Looking To Buy After Leaving Copper Behind

30th Jun 2016 12:05

LONDON (Alliance News) - Life Science Developments Ltd on Thursday said it is in on the lookout for acquisitions after changing its investment policy, as its 2015 loss narrowed.

The company was formerly Copper Development Corp but changed its investment policy and name in 2015. It sold off its copper interests in late 2015 and in early 2016, leaving it focused instead on identifying investment opportunities in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.

It said it is currently in the process of attempting to find investments in this sector and will continue this hunt in 2016.

For 2015, the company made a pretax loss of USD541,402, compared to a USD720,730 loss a year earlier. It did not generate any revenue.

Shares in Life Science Developments were up 9.1% to 3.00 pence Thursday.
