LONDON (Alliance News) - Cardiovascular monitoring company LiDCO Group PLC on Tuesday noted a report published in the Anasthesia journal which compared its LiDCOrapid device to other minimally invasive cardiac output devices.
The results showed the LiDCO device detected a statistically significant difference from baseline stroke volume faster than the other devices trialled.
"LiDCO monitors have been shown by this excellent comparative study to be the quickest at detecting blood loss. This performance gives our customers the best chance of avoiding excessive blood loss and guiding fluid replacement," said LiDCO Chief Executive Officer Terry O'Brien.
Shares in LiDCO were down 1.1% to 10.14 pence on Tuesday.
