LONDON (Alliance News) - Legendary Investments PLC on Thursday said its Virtualstock investee company has signed a deal with electronics retailer Maplin Electronics Ltd to supply its Virtualstock Edge inventory management platform.
The deal comes after Virtualstock started working with Maplin in mid-2014 to implement its dropship service to expand Maplin's supplier base and streamline its order management processes.
Virtualstock's dropship solution enables retailers to expand their online range without the risks and costs associated with taking on additional inventory. Online orders taken by retailers are fulfilled directly from suppliers to the end consumer.
No financial details on the deal were disclosed.
Shares in Legendary were up 8.8% to 0.0925 pence on Thursday.
