LONDON (Alliance News) - Leaf Clean Energy Co Monday said it is returning GBP6.4 million to shareholders while posting a higher net asset value per share in its recently-ended financial year.
The renewable energy and sustainable technology investment firm said that it is returning the cash by way of a compulsory redemption. The redemption price per share is 60.82 pence. Following this, the company will have GBP3.7 million in uncommitted cash.
Separately, Leaf Clean Energy said its NAV per share in the year ended June 30 was 93.41 cents, higher than the 89.90 cents posted last year. Its NAV stood at USD120.3 million, USD4.5 million higher than the prior year.
Shares in Leaf Clean Energy closed up 3.5% at 38.80 pence on Monday.
