LONDON (Alliance News) - Landore Resources Ltd said Wednesday it intersected "significant" gold mineralisation at its BAM gold deposit in Canada.
The miner said that exploration drilling at the deposit in the province of Ontario found gold intersections including 26.20 grams per tonne of gold over 1.02 metres in drill hole 0418-685 from a depth of 77 metres.
The BAM gold mineralised structure has now been confirmed, Landore said.
Results from Landore's summer drilling at BAM have been received and are being collated to be included in the upcoming resource estimate expected in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Chief Executive Officer Bill Humphries said: "The newly discovered gold mineralisation one kilometre along strike to the east of the BAM gold deposit further highlights the potential for there being additional discoveries within the highly prospective Archean greenstone belt traversing the Junior Lake Property from east to west for approximately 31 kilometres".
Landore Resources shares were trading up 2.1% at 1.20 pence each.
