Landore Resources Identifies New Potential Nickel Zones At Junior Lake

23rd Apr 2014 11:43

LONDON (Alliance News) - Landore Resources Ltd Wednesday said it has identified new potential nickel sulphide mineralisation zones at its Junior Lake Nickel-Copper Property in Canada.

The junior mineral exploration and development company said direct current resistivity results from recently completed ground geophysical surveys at the site have identified the presence of nine significant new potential nickel sulphide mineralisation zones, ranging from roughly 400 metres to 1,200 metres in length.

The company said the new zones are next to its existing B4-7 and VW Nickel resources, and results link well with its December 2013 surveys, providing numerous strong drill targets near the surface and at depth.

Landore Resources said a 4,000 metre drill programme is scheduled to start on July 7 to test these targets.

The company said processing of certain data from the survey is near completion and will be reported as soon as results are available.

Previous test results from exploration drilling at the B4-7 and VW Nickel sites have shown promising base and precious metal results with numerous over 0.3% nickel intersections including a 2.5 metre space at 0.39% nickel in its drill-hole 0411-288 and a 1.5 metre space at 0.33% nickel in its drill-hole 0411-289.

Landore Resources shares were up 9.1% to 3.00 pence, putting it in the top ten AIM All-Share risers Wednesday.
