Landore Resources Finds Further Evidence Of Gold At Canadian Deposit

4th Sep 2019 14:50

(Alliance News) - Landore Resources Ltd on Wednesday said a now-finished drilling programme in Canada has found similar gold intersections to those found previously.

Landore has finished drilling 24 holes at the BAM gold deposit on the Junior Lake property in Ontario, for a total of 3,966 metres.

Drilling has found gold mineralisation of similar widths and grade to the existing BAM deposit, with "multiple" instances of visible gold.

Landore also drilled 10 core holes covering 1,407 metres along strike to the west of the BAM deposit, extending mineralisation for a further 500 metres. The overall zone now extends for 3,600 metres, Landore said.

The company will now carry out an "extensive" exploration campaign, including ground geophysics, geological mapping, and soil sampling between the BAM deposit and the Lamaune gold exploration target, some 8.5 kilometres to the west of BAM. This should be finished by mid-September, with results due at the end of October.

Landore shares were 1.3% lower on Wednesday afternoon in London at 0.73 pence each.
