LONDON (Alliance News) - Non-life insurer Lancashire Holdings Ltd said on Thursday that Chief Executive Alex Maloney has been appointed as the chief executive of its subsidiary Cathedral Capital Ltd, part of Lancashire's "rapidly developing" Lloyd's of London business.
Lancashire Holdings said the appointment of Maloney was part of the "strategic integration" between Lancashire and its underwriting house Cathedral that it has been working towards since acquisition in 2013.
Maloney will take over the position on April 1.
"I am excited at the prospect of working even more closely with my colleagues at Cathedral," said Maloney.
Lancashire Holdings shares closed up 0.6% at 599.52 pence on Thursday.
