LONDON (Alliance News) - Lamprell PLC said Tuesday that it had won a new contract with Ensco Intercontinental GmbH, a subsidiary of Ensco PLC, worth around USD390 million.
Under the contract, the company will construct and deliver two self-elevating mobile offshore drilling platforms. It expects to deliver the first rig to Ensco in the second quarter of 2016 and the second in the third quarter.
Ensco has options for Lamprell to build two further rigs which are exercisable within six months.
Shares in Lamprell were trading up 3.7% at 148.75 pence Tuesday afternoon.
