LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy engineering company Lamprell PLC Wednesday said it has won a new contract with Petrofac Corp's Emirates unit to build 29 modules for an oil field in Abu Dhabi.
It didn't give any financial details of the contract, but said it is scheduled to deliver the first modules in the second quarter of 2015 and the final pipe-rack in the first quarter of 2016.
"We are pleased to announce this new contract from Petrofac, for whom Lamprell completed similar works last year for the Laggan Tormore development in the North Sea. We have established a strong track record in the offshore and onshore construction sector which is one of Lamprell's core markets, and we continue to see further growth opportunities," Lamprell Chief Executive James Moffat said in a statement.
Lamprell shares were down 0.9% at 58 pence Thursday morning.
