LONDON (Alliance News) - Bookmaker Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Annemarie Durbin as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Durbin is currently a non-executive director at stationery and books retailer WH Smith PLC and at banking group Santander UK PLC.
"With the completion of the merger and the creation of Ladbrokes Coral, we have set out in creating a board with the relevant experience and expertise to help us deliver the many opportunities we see for this business," Chairman John Kelly said in a statement.
"I am delighted to welcome Annemarie to the Ladbrokes Coral board. She brings significant operational, strategic and financial expertise and experience to the role including an excellent understanding of running a business with global operations," he added.
Shares in Ladbrokes Coral were trading down 1.7% at 124.10 pence on Tuesday.
