Ladbrokes Chairman Peter Erskine To Step Down In 2015

7th May 2015 06:34

LONDON (Alliance News) - Bookmaker Ladbrokes PLC on Thursday said Chairman Peter Erskine will step down from his role later in 2015.

Ladbrokes said it has started a search to identify a successor to Erskine, with the process being led by senior non-executive director John Kelly.

Erskine has been Ladbrokes' chairman since 2009 and will work with the board on the transition to a new chairman.

"Since becoming chairman six years ago, Ladbrokes has undertaken the necessary and difficult journey to modernise much of our business operations to enable us to compete more effectively in a rapidly changing digital market and a challenging retail and political environment. In that time real progress has been made," said Erskine.
