LONDON (Alliance News) - Radiation detection technology company Kromek Group PLC on Monday said it has secured a single-source contract from a US government agency, plus another follow-on award.
The company said the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, part of the US Department of Defense, has awarded Kromek a single-source contract to supply spectroscopic personal radiation detectors. The deal will start immediately and is worth around USD600,000 to Kromek.
In addition, the company has won a modification to an existing contract in place with DARPA covering electronic modules used to retrofit and test legacy radiation detectors. The modification is worth around USD748,000.
