(Alliance News) - Kosmos Energy Ltd on Thursday announced the appointment of Siemens AG board member Lisa Davis to its own board.
Davis, whose appointment came into effect on Wednesday, is currently responsible for Siemens's Power & Gas division. She has been on the Siemens board since 2014.
Before that, she held various senior roles at Royal Dutch Shell PLC, having previously worked at Chevron Corp and ExxonMobil Corp.
"We are delighted to have Lisa join the Kosmos board of directors," said Andrew Inglis, Chair & Chief Executive of Kosmos.
"She has an impressive record of achievement across the breadth of the energy industry. As Kosmos develops its vast natural gas resources offshore Mauritania and Senegal and looks to grow its natural gas portfolio, I am confident she will bring new ideas to our discussions."
Shares in Kosmos, which has assets in the Gulf of Mexico, Suriname, and the Atlantic coast of Africa, were untraded in London on Thursday, last quoted at 539.00 pence each.
