(Alliance News) - Kore Potash PLC on Thursday said it appointed Ignacio Caceres as a non-executive director, nominated by Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA, with effect from Wednesday.
Caceres replaces Trinidad Reyes, who has taken maternity leave from Sociedad Quimica y Minera and has resigned from the board.
The miner said Caceres joined Sociedad Quimica y Minera in 2013. He has completed the executive MBA at the Antwerp Management School in 2021.
"Ignacio has a strong commercial focus and sound understanding of the Sociedad Quimica y Minera business from his time spent representing Sociedad Quimica y Minera in Europe," said Kore Potash Non-Executive Chair David Hathorn.
Kore Potash shares were trading 8.9% lower n London on Thursday at 1.02 pence each, while in Johannesburg the stock was down 4.8% at ZAR0.20 a share.
