(Alliance News) - Kore Potash PLC on Wednesday said it is making good progress at Dougou extension project, located in the Kouilou district of the Republic of Congo.
The potash development company focused on the Republic of Congo said phase 1 of the definitive feasibility study for the extension remains on track to be completed in May, 2021.
Kore Potash said the drilling campaign is progressing on schedule and geo-mechanical testing of samples from previously drilled core has commenced.
Chief Executive Brad Sampson said: "The work programme in phase 1 of the Dougou extension definitive feasibility study is focused on improving our knowledge of a number of the key drivers for the success of this project.
"We are pleased that the programme is progressing on schedule and look forward to being able to report the full results of this work and the expected positive impact on the project economics."
Kore Potash shares were flat in Johannesburg at ZAR0.15 each, and down 0.1% at 0.60 pence each in London on Wednesday.
