Koovs Sales Triple In Final Quarter, Boosted By Marketing Campaign

11th Jan 2016 09:23

LONDON (Alliance News) - Indian online fashion retailer Koovs PLC on Monday said its sales tripled in the final months of 2015, boosted by its newly-launched marketing campaign.

Koovs said its sales in the period from September 28 to January 3 rose to GBP3.0 million, slightly more than triple the amount made a year earlier.

The growth was boosted substantially by the first phase of the company's multi-channel marketing campaign, launched in November, which helped increase its brand awareness substantially, according to Campaign Watch figures from mConsult.

The group said visits to its website nearly doubled in the period, while its conversion rate increased by 75%.

"We have a clear strategy to build India's leading fashion destination, underpinned by clear financing and investment plans which are on track. Our priorities are to build on the positive momentum of our initial marketing campaign, further develop our product ranges and accelerate growth into the New Year," said Mary Turner, Koovs' chief executive.

Koovs shares were up 2.1% to 24.00 pence on Monday morning.
