(Alliance News) - Kodal Minerals PLC said Monday it expects to lodge its application for a mining licence for the Bougouni lithium project in Mali in mid-January.
The mineral explorer said it has completed the engineering and appraisal work that supports the application and is in the process of compiling all documents and appendices that form part of the application.
The technical reports and documents are now being translated into French for a final review and approval before being submitted.
In November, Kodal Minerals said it had received the environmental permit for the Bougouni project.
Shares in Kodal Minerals - which is based in London - were down 7.2% at 0.037 pence on Monday.
