(Alliance News) - Kodal Minerals PLC on Tuesday said Technical Director Luke Bryan is to leave his role with effect from Friday this week.
Bryan, Kodal said, wants to focus "his time and effort" on other mining projects in which he is involved.
Chair Robert Wooldridge said: "Luke has been a key member of Kodal's management team since he joined in 2013, initially as chief executive overseeing the company's IPO in December 2013 and its subsequent move into West Africa, and more recently as technical director. His technical expertise and commercial advice have been of great value to the company and board and will be sorely missed.
"Luke is actively involved in a number of other projects, notably with Vardar Minerals Ltd which has an ongoing exploration programme in Kosovo and with Kalahari Metals which is exploring in the Botswana copperbelt, and he will now be able to devote more of his time to these opportunities. We thank him for his significant contribution to Kodal and wish him all the best in the future."
Kodal did not give any indication over the appointment of a new technical chief. Shares were down 1.5% on Tuesday afternoon at 0.079 pence each.
