Kodal Minerals Secures Environmental Permit For Mali Project

(Alliance News) - Kodal Minerals PLC on Monday said it has received the environmental permit for the Bougouni lithium project located in southern Mali.

The London-based exploration company said Mali's Environment minister has approved the environmental & social impact assessment for the Bougouni project and the company is working towards finalising lodging a mining licence application for the project by the end of 2019.

Kodal Minerals Chief Executive Bernard Aylward said: "We are very pleased to receive the Environmental Permit for Bougouni Lithium Project. This approval recognises the excellent work of our technical team and consultants and our continued strong relationship with the Mali Government and local communities."

Kodal Minerals shares were down 2.5% in London at 0.05 pence each on Monday afternoon.
